It is hard to believe that Gold has just had it's largest upward movement in 10 years, and the Gold Price Monitor thread isn't even a HOT subject on Silicon Investor.

I have my doubts that many high tech investor's understand the effect a 20% rise in Gold has on the profit of a mining company.
