Compaq, Novell Clinch Cooperative Deal CHINA, September 28, AsiaPort -- Compaq China and Novell China announced a new cooperative agreement in Beijing last week to post Novell's NDS system as a key part of Compaq's NonStop E-commerce solution. The two companies have jointly provided Compaq's Proliant server and Novell's NetWare and Group Wise for the Intranet of China International Trust and Investment Co (CITIC). According to the agreement, Novell will transplant its NDS into Compaq's Tru64 Unix operating system.
