why not keep your premium down and buy the November 60 calls Seems to me that the shorter-term calls are fetching more of a premium, and I wanted to go out at least a month beyond New Years. Granted tax implications will have effect for this year---but paying taxes should not preclude making money. I agree with you 100% on that one. Everyone is making a big deal about the tax factor. I know a lot of people that held on to extraordinary gains in some hi-flying techs because they didnt want the tax burden. Many of those issues have retraced 60-70%+ now. So now what. Taxes are an unfortunate fact of life. My guess is that there will be more dumping of losers at the end of the year in order to take a write-off. I'll be keeping an eye on TLAB though and making a decision soon. Thanks for your input. bk
