Thanks for the getback, Rarebird. And thanks for the compliment. Yes, I'm a rugged individualist, in waffle-stompers instead of high heels, but what the heck! High heels are much overrated in slippery mine adits<grin>

Roy ran the big trommel yesterday for a specific 3 hour test run. What a kick seeing all that gold in the sluice box! Discovered he needed a couple brackets re-welded, which was done last night. I came down for the clean-up. Damn, that was aLOT of purdy gold in the clean-up pan! He gave it to me to dry out and sort by meche' size. I gotta say, I JUST HATE THAT JOB!!! NOT!!!!!!

And some LDMA/GPAA old buggers drove in for a $70 all day highbanking experience of hand shoveling 6 yards, due to their receiving a free Oct 8-11 Mine With Valentine brochure from Pat and Roy. On their first sample pan after 10 minutes of shoveling, they started sacking up the ore pile instead of processing it on the spot as they had contracted to do.

Needless to say, when Roy asked for $50 bucks per 5 gallon bucket full for the raw ore perched in the back of their pickup, they ceased sacking it and went back to shoveling it into the highbanker as they were s'posta.<grin> They didn't stick around tho' for the clean-up of the big trommel. Too Bad.

I did have the DISTINCT pleasure of telling them the price of gold rallied $26+ yesterday. You should have seen their jaw drop!! Bet they'll be back today!!!-heh heh heh

YEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHAW!!!!
