mr, if there's a lot of cap text you could paste it into MS Word and use 'toggle case'. An awkward solution.

Cap Lock accidents ...

I'm going by memory here, but I think a warning beep is part of the Accessability options offered in Win98. I think it's offered for Scroll Lock and Num Lock too.

I believe that <SHIFT> + F3 gets change case.
