Mike-

>>Can anyone clarify this deal for me? Is this simply a list of games that THQ had the rights to, decided not to publish themselves, and passed on to a smaller publisher?<<

These are titles that THQ has published overseas(Toca GBC title releases Oct. 1st in UK and Soccer Title releases Oct 8th in UK.) and have helped THQ International and Rushware by giving them product. The fact that THQ has sub-licensed the North American rights for these games means they don't need the revenues and also have their hands full dealing with releases in the U.S. So let the licensing fees help the bottom line.

Saw this under the Gamefx Jobs:

GameFX is seeking a software engineer to lead our effort to develop a modular game development tool architecture based on standalone applications, plugins for 3D modeling software, and in-game editors.<<
Does this sound like middleware?
