.several here and sure many others go to the y site for this reason alone

Exactly. I do not post there because the Yahoo! boards are tasteless trash, but SI isn't even in the running for the business news reporting. I also use Excite/ATHM for news and have made them my home page.

levy,

Uhhh, anyone notice that AMZN's market cap is up about $4 billion this morning on the news they are introducing an online mall called "zShops". Although there are probably some differences, it looks like a clone of Hypermart to me.

Some analyst has been quoted on the dow tape:

"AMZN is not the only site out there to host small businesses on their site...What makes them different is that AMZN attracts more shoppers than any other site on the Web...and provides a major thoroughfare that many shopper will come through"

so they have "more shoppers" but GNET is ahead of them on the media metrix rankings. What does that make us? Freeloaders? skinflints? chopped liver? NotShoppers? Looks like HyperMart needs to begin turning eyeballs into to revenues-quickly!!

We know Russ can play soccer but can he box? Its time to lace up the gloves.
