You have positive breadth but the NYSE Most Actives are dominated by losing stocks (i.e., heavy selling concentrated in big stocks). Likely causes are news items such as G, IBM, etc. in the form of warnings or downgrades. quote.yahoo.com

John T.: Just checking back in on the Market. Sorry, I do not use the TRIN. I am sure someone on the MDA thread can answer your question. My read on this rally is the "big boyz" are using it to distribute. (Any one think the Market will continue to ignore the TYX rise?) I would like to call attention to a rising wedge formation in play off the pivot point yesterday on several Indices. Notable on the SPX 5-Minute Semi-Log Chart. It appears to be in the process of resolving to the norm as I type, let's see. Good trading all... Regards, LG
