There is this one
judge in San Francisco (appointed for life, of course)
who is the one every liberal case is brought to because
she would overturn anything to advance her agenda.

Gee from SF, what a surprise! LOL! JLA

Absurd! The Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit is a federal court. The judges are appointed for life and approved by the Senate. I believe over 20 judges. Each case is referred by a secretary of the court to 3 person panels. There is no way a plaintiff or defendant can steer the case to a particular panel. Any decision can be petitioned to be reheard en banc (many but not all judges). No single judge can produce a majority on any case. The Court does have the highest rate of reversal of any of the Courts of Appeal. With the Supreme Court we have now, this is a badge of honor.
I recently won a case before this Court as a co-plaintiff against the (Democratic) governor of Hawaii (a self-styled liberal) who had violated the U.S. Constitution by threatening to withhold professors' pay at the University of Hawaii. I think this court's decisions are almost uniformly brilliant.
