I noticed that September is not a very good month for MOT.
Last September their earnings were down 86%. I was
concerned about this since their earnings are out in less
than a week, so I went to www.edgar-online.com and checked
out the insider trading for MOT since June 1999. There were
a total of ten SEC filings . . . all were sells. Here is a
run down of the last six filings: A. Peter Lawson (16,150
shares), Arnold S. Brenner (17,000 shares), Anne P. Jones
(1,000 shares), John A. White (2,500 shares), Hector De J.
Ruiz (35,290 shares), Frederick T. Tucker (10,000 shares).
This totals to approx. 7.6 million dollars! If the employees don't believe in MOT, I why should I?
I'm pulling out. This can't be a good indicator.
