A parable.

There are two monks that have decided to walk the country, and due to their vows of celabacy, they have decided to maintain as little contact with women as possible. They walk through a small town, and one monk sees a very attractive woman needing to cross a muddy street. The monk decides to carry the woman across the street, and put her down on the other side.
The monks walk another 15 miles that day... and at the end of the day one monk says to the other "how could you touch that beautiful woman, and carry her across that street".
The other monk replied "I carried her across the street, and then I put her down... you on the other hand have carried her for the last 15 miles".

The moral: Let things the little things go.
