So, if Amazon is allowing anyone to sell through there site, does this represent a major change in strategy for Amazon - that they are no longer focused on being the e-tailer, but rather the site that hosts all the e-tailers? Or maybe they are planning to do both.

If they are changing their strategy - that is if they don't plan to be the Wal-Mart of the web, but rather the Mall of the web, then what are they going to do with their warehouses?

Anyone have any thoughts - is this a change in strategy?
