My answer about electability is this: the more I see of McCain the more I think of him, the more I see of Bush, the less I think of him. I think that once major media exposure is given to the campaign, Americans would easily choose McCain over Gore. Easily. So, yes, McCain is most electible IMHO.

As to the Keating Five stuff, that was thoroughly investigated, and no wrongdoing was found on the part of Sen. McCain. Many good people were fooled by Mr. Keating, a blueblood member of the finanacial "establishment." Had McCain been a bank office at Keating's institution he might have known what was up. He was an outsider, and was deceived by this master con man, as thousands of others were. It can happen to anyone.
