Chaz,

<< Don't know how broad the "Bluetooth" coverage is >>

There is not much that escapes your investigating in the world of wireless but FWIW this is a link to the Bluetooth site:

bluetooth.com

On the subject of wireless data a one year old perspective on the subject written by Andrew M. Seybold called "Wireless Data: an Overlooked Opportunity":

pcsdata.com

The article is interesting from my point of view because it was published well before there was CDMA Data. It would be interesting to see an update of this article today by Mr. Seybold.

The PCS Data site (like its GSM Data sister site) remains somewhat GSM centric but considerably less so than 3 months ago which I take as a very positive sign. If you have not already looked at it you might want to check out:

pcsdata.com

There are probably very few articles there you have not read, but what I find interesting is that the overall complexion of the site is changing and all of a sudden there is recognition of the fact that wireless data is not an exclusively GSM capability and today as we post here practical usage of CDMA Wireless Data is faster and (maybe) better.

Chaz,

Thanks for info on Bluetooth. That helps. Also found this, which provides some perspective on where Q fits in the picture:
