Looks like personal payments (AMZN) are there as well....Rolls out tomorrow..

NEW YORK, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Online retailer Amazon.com Inc. (NasdaqNM:AMZN - news) on Wednesday said it would roll out new features on its Internet shopping site designed to expand the range of merchandise, permit customer payments to small businesses and improve the search for goods for sale on the World Wide Web.

Shares of Amazon.com surged 9 points, or about 14 percent, to 74-7/8 on Nasdaq, where it was the No. 2 net-gaining issue, as well as the most active with more than 28 million shares trading by 11 a.m. EDT (1500 GMT).

At a press conference in New York, Amazon.com founder and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos said the new initiatives include zShops, a feature to enable ``anyone' to sell merchandise -- excluding guns and animals -- on Amazon.com, and Amazon.com Payments, which will allow payments to individuals and small businesses through its site.

``Anyone from an individual to a mega-conglomerate to micro manufacturer can set up shop on zShops,' Bezos said.

A third feature will be a new search engine at the Amazon.com site that will comb the Internet to connect buyers and sellers. The specialized engine is dedicated solely to shopping and provides detailed category information, comments about merchants and product reviews and ratings.

All three new elements will become available on Thursday and will add more than half a million unique products to the range of goods available on Amazon.com, Bezos said. He declined to say how many merchants will be signed up for zShops at the launch.
