A while back I posted that CW had changed the specs on the Aranea1 router fron 128Gbps to 200Gbps.

The recent Zuma PDF document had a backplane speed of 256Gbps.

I just downloaded the MRV presentation off their website to see if on the off chance they had updated it to include Zuma in anticipation of the upcoming Van Kasper conference.

No such luck. But they HAVE updated it to show picture of MetroFusion and Aranea and they have changed the backplane speed of Aranea there to 256Gbps.

The Aranea specs from their website still say 200Gbps.

I think we are looking at internal upgrades in progress as they evolve closer to reality on these boxes. At 256Gbps, that is the fastest switching fabric out there. I wonder how they do it?
