When Acampora Squawks, Prudential's Clients Get It
By James J. Cramer

Crescendo possibilities? We always seem to get one in conjunction with a big strategist/technician call. Maybe this call by Ralph Acampora from Prudential Securities just now does it. Certainly would make sense.

Here's the problem: When Acampora squawks, Prudential's clients get it. The market gets hit. And then it bounces.

But sometimes Ralph gets on Ron Insana and he goes out with the same call. Or Maria Bartiromo gets it.

No sense buying ... until one of those two squawk the Acampora call

Making Room for Ralph
By James J. Cramer

9/28/99 1:40 PM ET

Tom Costello squawks the Acampora push-out call just now on CNBC.

That's a start. I figure the bookers are furiously trying to put him on for Maria Bartiromo or Ron Insana. Maybe, just maybe they book him for after 4:00 p.m. -- BOORRRINNGGGGG!

But to get the maximum Kodiak/Ursine/Polar/Koala/Panda/Ben/Yogi edge, we have to squeeze Ralph into trading hours.

Only then, would there be a genuine opportunity to pick up some stocks. For those of you thinking of buying now, why not wait to see if the bookers have some success getting Ralph for this afternoon's CNBC shows.

The worst that happens, you miss a temporary bottom. Best that happens, we get a tradeable crescendo courtesy of Acampora's new prediction-of-a-possible-dive-below- 10,000 rap.

Kansas to Acampora -- who would have thought it!!
