What if the Fed tightens on Tues. Won't most stocks plunge? The A/D line is still negative.

One could argue that a tightening would remove the last of bad news. OTOH, the worst thing likely to happen, IMHO, would be for the Fed to not hike rates but then assume a tightening bias. The best we can hope for is no hike and a neutral bias.

Somewhere I saw an analyst say that the short-term debt markets are pricing in a 17% chance of a rate hike.
