Broadband pick? Oh, brother. . .that is like who is my favorite running back of all time. . . . HLIT has been spectacular. . .and in the middle of the night I thought about them splitting. . .only to wake up to find them announce a 2 for 1 . . . so I was late to that party. And the price has been on the move again. ADAP has been holding here, but I think will get active again. CNXT is looking really good here technically. . .they also announced a 2 for 1, but have not been run up on that news. . . nor the news about partnering with CSCO. . . so they are lagging, in my opinion. ANTC is the sleeper of the group. JDSU has received all the attention of late. . .and also announced a 2 for 1 . . but are pretty expensive here, IMO. ..it would take an iron gut to enter here on JDSU or HLIT. Incidently, I do not believe that ATHM/ATT has reached ANY sort of "deal" with AOL. I don't think they will ever reach an agreement. I have said this many times. . .it is hogwash and totally manipulative. . .and the "anal-ysts" that are spreading the rumor, which is based in absolutely no fact. . .with real facts saying otherwise. . . are walking a fine line on securities violations. ATHM shorts needed this rumor to take new short positions, in my opinion. . . I am bearish on ATHM near term until the Fed makes a decision on the broadband issue. . .I think we will get a chance to buy ATHM below 35 yet. And that will be a good position. . .look at chart. . .all gains today. . .last time this happened, it was quickly reversed when ATT CEO said he is NOT in talks with AOL. I will bet this is how it will end this time, too. Rande Is
