Great day for net stocks.

1. Grabbed
AOOJA: AMERICA ONLINE OCT99 105.00 @ $6 « this morning, closed at $8 3/8

2. Also nice bounce on EGRP today. Brokers are way way oversold.

3. I think DOW Transports are rallying with the Inets getting ready for the selling season. Keep an eye on FDX. Up nice two days in a row after selling off pretty big. I think stock has put in a bottom. It is another one of those that can be up 50+% by Mar/Apr 2000

4. Ref ATHM, I read the report, it is quite glowing. At least through yesterday it was all wait and see for me as ATHM had broken down and I thought it had a chance of making the 20?s in October. If it is worth $125 I don?t know. I don?t think AOL would pay that much for it. It is definitely worth trading and I?ll investigate those Leaps. My position all along was that AOL was in the driver?s seat reference access. ATT would have to come and sit down with AOL and negotiate not the other way around. T has a great brand name and is trying to make itself all shinny and new on the outside. This is just the point, looks neat from the outside but the inside is decaying. The crown jewel, LU is on its own. T is wounded and buying up cable properties was a big waste in my opinion. WCOM, AOL and others will slowly destroy it?it will be a long-term process but it is underway.

5. ATHM room to $60 in the short term. I think AOL would pay a max of $80. However, T will want to cut some sort of deal and AOL will get the best of it. Lastly, T might like to buy AOL but no way Steve Case will do it. AOL would drop to $50 overnight. Just like the reaction when USA network tried to get Lycos.
At best AOL might allow T a 10% stake.

6. I?ll check out your posts on the SUNW thread

7. HHH, I got too busy and didn't call to buy it earlier this week. I would have had it at the $105 level. I'll just sit and wait awhile now. So far I like the Powerstation from Fidelity. However, the screens can get out of control. They should use a deskview format like HP has for its software. would make it easier and faster to navigate.
