Cirruslvr, re:<Too bad the DELAYED [i820] release date has been DELAYED indefinitely!>

Does anyone else feel that Intel might pull a "rabbit out of its hat" by finding some method of solving the i820 problem other than motherboard redesign and/or chipset modification?

I think they'll try to come up with some kludge, like putting specially terminators in the third slot or requiring only one RIMM. Meanwhile, while searching for a kludge to meet the CuMine release, they'll continue the long term solution.

Then again, maybe Intel overstated the problem because the real problem is poor performance and high cost of RIMM's.
