Good point of view on E-brokers & tulips, Kanetsu. . .thanks. I saw the E-brokers do this very thing early in August . . towards the end of the day the spurted to incredible heights. . . losing much of it minutes before the bell [after the 10 minute before bell cut off point that some online brokerages still have] . .

I can't help but think this is a short-covering move. . . there is nothing else to give it credence. If so, caution is advised on any late entries. . . I'd be watching volume on the ask EOD. . .smells like a bull trap to me.

And don't forget END OF QUARTER window dressing on the brokerage firms. . . . manipulators. . .that explains most of what I think we are seeing today.

If on-line brokers can figure out a way to serve free drinks I might just short casino stocks...

LOL...

They are one and the same... And BTW, You are not the only one that billion dollar market cap swings are worrying.. We (any prudent person) should all be worried. History can and does repeat, especially for those that forget the past.
