Who or what is Gadi Singer?

I agree that Merced (and IA64 in general) will be a very slow ramp.

The irony is that the x86 is winning in the workstation/server area. Intel doesn't need Merced to conquer those markets!

That makes AMD even FARTHER BEHIND in the 64 bit CPU race ?

Just where is AMD in this area ? Seems their FUTURE may not be holding much promise.
