There has been very little selling of this stock. It's just that there has been even less buying, and sellers--that is, the former holders of Meridian stock--are obviously far more motivated than whatever buyers there were. I don't think it says anything fundamentally about DSS or SDLT.

Look at the historical price chart. There has been one day of more than 2 million shares since July. There have been 5 days of over 1 million shares in Sept, and 3 days of over 1 million shares in Aug. That's it. That's nothing, especiallyÿfor a company with the float that DSS has, over 160 million shares.

While the drooping stock price and the persistent negativity of Z--who was the first to bring DLT ot my attention more than 2 years ago--make me nervous, I remain cautiously optimistic that it is becoming a wonderful buying opportunity. I also hope that the company is taking advantage of these price levels to buy back some stock.

H&Q report on DSS, from Yahoo:
messages.yahoo.com

A positive report, with a buy recommendation and a 6-9 month target of $30:
<<* We believe that earnings risk this quarter is priced into the stock and reiterate our Buy rating and six-to-nine month price target of $30.>>

My feeling is that if the stock can be taken up to 30 (which is to say, if SDLT gets out the door without bugs and with backward compatibility), there will be enough good news in it to take it higher than that. But, of course, first things first....
