AVP--<<Avon Products Inc. (AVP) fell 9 7/8, or 28 percent, to 25 13/16. The world's largest direct seller of cosmetics and beauty products said its fourth-quarter profit will be short of estimates because of falling currencies in Brazil and Mexico. Avon said third-quarter earnings will meet analysts' estimates of 34 cents. Fourth-quarter earnings will be unchanged or slightly higher than its year-earlier profit of 56 cents a share, it said. Analysts expected the company to earn 63 cents, the average estimate of analysts polled by First Call.>>

So they will meet this quarter and then miss next quarter by 7 cents and the stock gets clobbered by over 25%?

float on egrp is close to 130 mil last time i checked, amtd 47 mil,,, 37 mil is nothing compared to that, besides TWE is profitable. If one believes in the markets endurance, the continuation of current valuations, and wants to enter long why not at least choose the play who's story is fresh, just unfolding and is much cheaper. You know eventually it will be painted as such by the real movers of the market. Id pick TWE any day in this range over the inflated balloon people call EGRP and i bet that there are some behind the scenes that have the same plan,, just my guess and just my speculation.
Lucky for egrp they are listed on the nasdaq and not the nyse. Actually on a side note i wonder what would happen if all internet stocks were moved to the nyse or amex,, i think that many daytraders would close up shop and some would have heart attacks as the trade of trading would become less profitable without the good old Las VEgas nasdaq shoot em up sallon.

I really think i am right lol.

TWE - it was a disaster because of greed... TD, CSFB... those are the people to blame... I had a whole bunch of this and sold at a loss. Best entry IMO is if it breaks 16 and dispel the curse of dead money.
