Too damn much..The biggest increase has been in the last 10 years. I tried to pull up the article but they want $$ for archived articles (this one is 10 days old)..LOL. The article said that many commute up to 2 hours each way just to have a back yard, more space, etc..

In my area of the valley, people are paying $500k for a 2/1 with 900 sq ft then bringing in the bulldozers. I don't think I could afford my own house now!

Depends on the area but around 450. There is a piece of doo doo right next door that needs at least 100k in fix it monies to make it acceptable. On a busy street next to a creak. 465k.

I'm moving out of the area.

My Dad just sold his place and it wasn't even on the market. Someone just knocked on the door. In a retirement community and he banked 65k in two years. Gotta love that.
