Ganesh -- I take your point entirely -- but for an investor, the message back to Starbucks is 'stop screwing with the net and do something about your core business issues'. Companies get distracted -- and the net is one big distraction that sucks in resources and does not produce much. AMZN is on to something here. Starbucks would be better to let AMZN help them solve their 'web strategy' or whatever. This is a good move by AMZN and it could lead to a series of announcements -- as to the stock price: 1) The S&P is just inches above that right shoulder, and 2) AMZN is still highly speculative and highly valued stock :) Today was a great selling opportunity.
