Thanks for this info, raymund. I will check out that poster and that thread. Actually, I have schwab, datek and etrade accounts. I chose schwab for this trade because datek is very strict with their margin requirements, and given schwab's commission structure, I try to do my smaller share trades with schwab (multiple k trades with schwab get expensive). I now see that knowing the ins and outs of brokers' policies can be highly beneficial. I know there is a great deal of trading expertise on this thread, so I always welcome input from the folks here.
