Thanks Jim,<<.. when word filters out on the details of fiscal Q4 for QCOM, and we are within 2-3 weeks of the annual earnings announcement, it will be our time to reap the rewards for patience... if word leaks of $1/sh for Q4 then we will begin moving>>

Now for the real question "Celt w/o kilt"?
Does that mean you have some Irish flair :-)or is the William from another part of the UK?
( I have Irish and Scot in my blood, in fact there was a project done by Queens University in Canada that traced my ancestors coming from the UK in 1632 to Rhode Island then up to the Boston area........more later

disclaimer on thoughts of my bigotry... much playful stuff today

I love the diversity of this country, but poke at most ethnic groups... dont think of me as a bigot, just cutting up... harbor many positive stereotypes, realizing that easily 10% dont fit them inside any group... so at great personal risk, here are some positives

- Black Americans will go down in history as producing the most utterly awesome astounding athletes the world has ever seen... too bad they participate mainly in summer game sports... and black 1970's rock&roll is the best, behind Jim Morrison & Doors

- Latin American baseball players extend careers late into their 30's and even 40's much more often... Major League Baseball would not be the same without... my greatest hero is Roberto Clemente (Puerto Rican Pittsburgh Pirate)... current hero is Pedro Martinez (Dominican Boston RedSox)

- Indians have made an enormous contribution to American technology corporations, to mathematical statistics theory, and to American small businesses (motels, convenience stores)

- Russian mathematicians built many cornerstones in the world of probability... my thesis extended a famous guy's work named Gnedenko

- French mathematicians built the foundations of many fields that are being exploited now... case in point the Fourier Transform in digital signal processing for QCOM's CDMA... but they are strangely absent since 1900

- never but never host a party without a few Irish men and women... they dont come in the boring variety

- Apaches were/are the best trackers ever known, as well as some of the fiercest fighters (see Geronimo)

- German mechanical engineering is meticulous, exacting, efficient, and impressive (see automobiles, jets, construction equipmt)... the fact that Allies beat Germany in WW2 is a testimony to poor judgment and poor military intelligence

- Italian opera and art give me goosebumps, just another level altogether from the masses

- French chefs make not only outstanding meals, but they serve as art forms

- Scandinavian blondes are the epitome of the female form, oh baby oh baby oh

- Kenyan longdistance runners are the class of the class

- Japanese are the world's best copycats, and masters of efficiency

apologies to all offended by past postings, and to all groups omitted whose contributions are significant, like Chinese circus gymnasts, Austrian skiers, Dutch skaters, Israeli military intelligence, Puerto Rican musicians, and Inuit hunters... gotta cut it off sometime

sincerely, Jim Willie
