Dear J-14:

As someone has already told you, NIV is New International Version. I have a Bible program which has several translations of the Bible. When I post a quote from the Bible I do so from my program which automatically inserts the version: NIV (New International Version), KJV (King James Version), NKJV (New King James Version), NAS (New American Standard). I like the way the NIV reads so I have it as my default version.

NIV short for " New International Version "

It SUCKS !!! It is the worst English translation I have ever seen !!

Stick to the KJV or the Geneva Bible They were faithful.. These Modern texts are DUNG !!!

If you study original languages you will PUKE when you see the NIV !
