Lenny,
Hi!!
RE: I dont know Kemble, but the thing I keep seeing
is Dell winning all these 40 and 50 million
dollar deals, I think this may be a pretty good
quater.........
So what's your adjustment going to look like?

This quarter is reminding me of the qts. of old...The reviewing of the current news quotes from management...words very strong and pointed..Yesterday Michael was talking of CHINA...ooooh CHINA wont bring us a bunch of $$ in the earnings this qt...yet, we may be starting to see a penny in the earnings from there...He mentioned that they were ahead of schedule..."OUR BUSINESS THIS YEAR IN CHINA IS GOING TO BE SEVERAL HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE AND HAS ACHIEVED PROFITABILITY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE" ..Basically, last qt. he told us that business was "HEALTHY"...Last week he told us it was "VERY HEALTHY"...Now, we beat the estimates last qt. by 2cents...You can figure this one on that quote of "VERY"...
Tom Meredith has mentioned very positive notes: "Demand is healthy"..."We don't see it changing in the second half or changing beyond the second half".... Kevin Rollins ditto...I really like what I've read and keep reading...I believe their strategy against CPQ is paying off and we will benefit for many years to come...
Did you like Tom Meredith's comments concerning ecommerce? :o) I love the aggressive nature of his attitude towards the competition...It ain't braggin' if ya can prove it!

Best, Kemble
