Bill it is a grinding market and the brokers take most out of it in fees.

Hi Bill ..

Well .. How did you like our end of quarter window dressing?

Pretty wimpy don't you think ..

So then .. we had these weird upward pressures on the market from moment to moment .. and then the selling would resume ..

Do you think there was enough upward momentum to trigger the fund dippers? trim tabs sayz no way jose ..

Maybe the bulls can do a little better in the morning ..

What do you think .. did the action for the last couple of days tend to support perma bull mentality?

I think that there are a lotta bulls right now that are thinking "I think I'll be able to get it at a lower price."

At least the ones that still have the cash that could be spent.

Oh wow! I just looked at the calendar. We still have one more day left to impress the bulls!

Then we'll have the aftermath of mind changing buy on dippers, margin calls, funds window undressing .. yep Friday and Monday could be pretty ugly .. then again the bulls could run tomorrow. If they could pull off .. say a three hundred point one day gain .. that would bring out the dippers!

I don't think they'll pull it off.

Bill,
One problem that this and other TA threads have is their short term perspective. There is something changing underneath whether or not the Fed raises, y2k, and debt savings concerns. I think the ostriches sense it.
