>>its zed, you stupid yanks, zed...proper Queen's English is zed...<<

I see, calling people stupid is better than pronouncing a word incorrectly?....

Doesn't Wayne live in New York and love it?... you can't even keep your most prized national hero at home.

"proper queens english".... amazing what some people hold as dear-g-

Ike, I've always wondered, what the heck does the Queen do for Canada (or Australia or Bermuda, for that matter)? I can understand her function in England, as she is a major tourist trap. But other than hanging out on the money, does she have a function.

We fought two wars to get rid of Zed. And as Quentin Tarrantino pointed out so eloquently in "Pulp Fiction," Zed is dead. <g>

When moving to the land of Aus. 6 years ago, zed tripped me up for about a month before i caught on. The other problematic name was 'lemonade' which didnt resemble any lemon taste at all but was much like a Sprite. Now I order a 'lemon squash' at the pub by the A.N.Zed Bank.

And I still laugh at ALUMINIUM
