AOL's got to pull back a little sometime--I mean, it was 88 last Thursday, right?--but I don't think we're going to see too much damage.

I thought the AOL rumor was generated to explain the ramp (due to pent-up buying/short-covering after MSFT's pricing announcement and AOL's announcement that subscriber adds were strong) rather than the other way around.

Incidentally, know anything about a small cap called Object Design (ODIS)? Failing oo database company, abysmal management, but they have a supposedly strong XML product. The stock has been strengthening this week, but that could just be because no one has any profits in it to protect.

I have a tiny spec position in it (indirectly due to KIS, but that's a long story -g-) around 4.
