Sorry.....I don't agree...."a good team would of crushed the Cards"...
According to the power rankings the Fish are one of if not the best teams in the NFL and with all the turnovers they got in week 2... and playing at home... they still barely beat the Cards.....plus... maybe we weren't watching the same game ....they didn't hand the Niners 21 points the first half since they only had 17 at half. You still have to take advantage of your turnover (which the cards didn't do on the opening drive).....so all in all I think you don't know what your talking about....I bet the Cards give the Stars all they can handle in Dallas this weekend.....

Hi Tom,
It only sounded on the radio like Young was getting time.

Maybe the seahawks would get 5 INTs against Plummer and his backup. <g>

I guess CB Willie Williams is good for a 5'9" guy. They call him "mighty mouse." I wonder how CB Allen of the Raiders will do against either Pritchard, Dawkins, or Mayes. They say he's a great DB but I'm hoping he gets tested to make sure. It will be interesting to see if anyone catches anything against Woodson.

I would be inclined to say that no matter what the over/under here, go under. These two defenses may be the best in the NFL after last week - the Raiders unit had to salvage a win in a 5-fumbles-lost game. In Pittsburgh the Seahawks D smothered the Steelers. The 5-interception gem may have been the best defensive performance of the week.

The offense didn't need to score a TD against Pittsburgh. The game was over in the first 6 minutes. It was probably over before the Seahawk offense took the field. By then it was 14-0. THe first possession, after a 50-some yard completion to Pritchard, yielded a field goal and by 17-0 it was pretty much in the bag given that on the other side of the ball the D already had several behind-the-line tackles against Bettis.

This week the Seahawk offense needs to score a TD or two. That may be a tall order against this Raider defense and field position will probably decide it. If the Raiders fumble the ball away like they did last week, they'll have a tough time winning in the Kingdome.

Kitna is probably better than Gannon at this point, but what kind of pass protection will he get? Will the Seahawks get to Gannon on the other side? How do Mighty Mouse and Springs compare as a duo to the Raiders' DBs? What's Wheatley's health going to be like?

We'll know a lot more on Sunday.

One thing: In this league you have to win your divisional home games. Those 4 (or 5 in the AFC Central) are critical to overall success. If they turn around the 31-18 loss to the Raiders, and the 21-16 loss to the Broncos, they're 10-6 last year and in the playoffs. They need those home games against the Raiders, Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers.

Speaking of the Chargers; look for them to get lit up some more as their secondary is dinged up.
