JMac, what newsletter? curious minds wanna know

over the last six years, I have subscribed to over a dozen newsletters... over half didnt survive refunds after two issues... I like three now, still subscribing and reading upon renewals:

Scientific Investing -- uses statistical methods to identify smallcap stocks with strong "alpha"... they rise independently of the S&P... got Labor Ready, Safeguard Scientific, THQI, AudioVox... called six 100% gainers this year

Growth Stock Winners -- has wide range of growth stocks, about 50-60% techs... got Uniphase, RFMicro, Power Integrations, QLogic, Dell for 3 years, THQI (video games)... solid record with Dell a 10bagger

Stellar Stocks -- many strong internets, tech growers, online brokerage... got ETrade, Schwab, KnightTrimark, Oracle, Staples, Earthlink, EMC, Lucent for 3 yrs, AOL, Home Depot for 2 yrs... good record

I have found 80% of newsletters to be total rubbish rags... my three have a consistent record... Stellar Stock editor Richard Schmidt is an excellent guide thru tough market turns... on May 10th he advised selling to raise serious cash... on May 11th the techs broke down with QCOM topping at 112 heading down to 90... in first week of August he expected treading water until October with fits and starts and stumbles... he is usually right on the mark

which newsletter expects Q weakness?
most are worthy of lining a catbox

jmac,

In that case, you should sell as soon as market opens. Or, better yet, sell your Q shares premarket in the Instinet.

Are you hoping someone would talk you out of it? - not I.

Regards,
Ibexx
