I guess AMD likes to give its users the highest performance available, unlike Intel whose mobile processor's bus still runs at a low 66MHz across the board!

While the K6-III and K6-2 made on this improved process require less volts to run, it looks like the power dissipation (in watts) is the same. (Page 73 and 108, respectively.) Paul always seems to harp on this number. How do AMD's compare to Intel's?

Does lowering the voltage alone improve battery life?
