I've compiled a list of billion dollar market cap NASDAQ stocks with no earnings. My favorite on the list is STMP--not just no earnings, NO REVENUES!! Nada! But what a concept--stamps on the Internet. Now we all know that no one comparison-shops on the Internet so the 3 other vendors who will be offering the same service won't be a problem. But let's just assume for the sake of argument that a little competition might spur these vendors to cut their prices a little--maybe after a couple of years down to, shall we say, a penny premium per letter. Assuming a generous valuation of 10 times gross sales (the 1 cent part--the part out of which SG&A and other fun things have to come) that works out to 10 billion stamps a year. But wait a second--there'll be other revenue. I forgot about that. They're going to sell Avery labels on their site.
