Yep it is so Spin been there done that, got the "T" Shirt, belt buckle, hat, jacket, shoelaces and underpants... I work overseas in teh O&G industry. Depends if Iran gives the concessions that EXXON, BP, Phillips, Mobil, Texaco, Oxydental want and need, you could see some movement in a year... Also consider US policy with Iran at this time, and will it differ in a year, two years... Also consider is it in the USA best interests to allow the majors to develope this field... Is it in the best interests of the Middle East to develope this field... Most likely the players will be Elf and Russian interests, possibly Italian that will be/are in there first, also keep a eye out for CNPC (Chinese) intereests... Eitherway development is 2 to 5 years away, maybe longer but I doubt it... I am sure but still speculating that Iraq is first on the list for re developement, once USA comes on side. for development of the Iraq oil fieldsand Iraq promises to repay its multi billion dollar debt to Kiwait... it seems most other countries are thinking along those lines anyway... US is coming into a presidential election, if Bush is the front runner, I would not expect much to change from today, if on the other hand a more Liberal runner moves to the front things could change... My thoughts only Spin and they aint worth much in the total universe :)

Either way, OIL's destiny will HUGE....
