Oh, yeah? Well, I'll see your article and raise you this one, from the current issue of e-Healthcare Market Reporter. The quote is from Caren Taylor, CFA, vice president and senior research analyst of E*OFFERING's e-Healthcare Service Research, in her report, "The E*Volution of Healthcare":

"Based on our conversations with investors, the biggest beef we hear about e-healthcare content sites is that they are 'too much concept.' Investors are increasingly becoming skeptical of purely advertising/sponsorship revenue models. Internet disease management companies could provide an attractive e-commerce component to a health site's revenue model, which we believe could go a long way in easing investors' concerns about the business models of e-healthcare content companies."

She goes on to discuss remote patient monitoring via the Internet, stating that startup companies in this field should be hitting the IPO market within the next 12-18 months.

Does anybody know of a company that should improve on that timetable? <VBG> -Eric
