I hear you, i might add that the consistent following of particular securities by the masses or persistent coverage of one stock to me is a temporal anomaly. Even if it takes getting hit on the head by a 2x4 eventually that flawed security blanket will be tossed in the back alley dumpster. The mentality of this market is that 12-24 mnths of media domination and perception of certain stocks =infinity,, as if there was no other reality than what is layed out on the popular silver platter in the recent past. This can change on the flip of a coin. Ask the buyers of the so called popular net stocks at their highs,, hanging out still wondering when and if they will ever break even. Its laughable--- and value and relative value will mean more than ever, regardless of how many months it takes and how many star analysts flap their fat chops incessantly into the dusty memories of the public.
