How is this company worth 100X sales in the type of market that it is in?

briand,

FDRY clearly is not worth this type of valuation by any real world standards...it is based on nothing but expectation and sales growth(which is expected to accelerate faster that what has already been expeted)-per CEO on CNBC. The mkt. puts ridiculous valuations on these company's which really means a grain of salt...it is just built in expectation. No real way to value these companies....... so yes I agree with you, but if this followed the 2 day ATON trading pattern from the last few days it would have hit $200...the current mkt. conditions will should not adhere to a $200/shr. price but it is not out of the question..should it be trading there...no...but should JNPR ,BRCD, or even ETYS be valued where they are..No...but this has become an overextended and quite silly expectation game that I think might just not reach the expectations people have...but the analysts and research continues to derive bloated figures and targets and sales goals...so they are very much to blame and really only adds fuel to the fire. Expected growth is what is at work here...and it is the same expectations that made Yahoo and AMZN...and those initial goals were easily realized...so what is FDRY really worth. Well CISCO took out a competitor for 6 Billion and the word on the street is that FDRY is a much stronger company with more technology and better prospects.

This Mkt. looks terriable at best and I did take profits on FDRY this morning...at least until there is a clearer direction to this Mkt.'s madness.
