>After-hours trade reports (Form T in the time & sales) come from Instinet and other ECNs like Island. They stop in the normal NASDAQ symbols at 5:15 EST and we are trying to determine why. - Gibbons

Why not call Bill Linn at INVESTOR R/T - one of the programs for which you supply a data feed.

I used IRT with the MYTRACK/TRACK DATA feed and I could set in IRT when I wanted the feed to begin and end - I set 9:00-5:00 and EVERYTHING in the program worked - - charts, quote page, T&S, L2 - everything. It tracked every trade - during normal market, overnight, pre/post market - - everything.

This is very important information for a daytrader to figure gaps pre-market and is done at a glance for your whole quote page just as it is done during your "normal" trading times.

We can trade in off hours - it just does not make sense that Qcharts can not supply us with the info we need for this period - - perticularly when others do so.

Qcharts is suppose to be a big time, state of the art program - please solve this problem for us.

Gibbons,

what about the after hours Hot lists....will we be able to use the volume lists soon.... are you working on making these available for extended trading? Or are they available now? Mine stopped shortly after close.

Gibbons, appreciate your candid response. Please let us know as you resolve the after hours trades issues. In the meantime, thanks to you and IS for the suggestions on ISLD T&S.

I still wonder if I need to report all options with bad January symbols, or if this part of an understood problem that will only resolve itself as an across the board fix is implemented.

Thanks,

sf

Gibbons,

Despite downloading the very latest Qcharts (3.0 build 2) I still cannot get any of the preferencing settings to function in my connection to Cyber-X.

No matter what I do orders are sent as Cyber-limit. This ruins the whole process for me.

Any idea why? I suspect some software is out of date.

Eric

Gibbons,

I have a question on the ISLD book / T&S data feed. I've briefly looked through the messages here but didn't find much on that topic.

Sometimes I notice that the ISLD T&S and the book is not current, and on entering ISLD:xxxx it shows that the T&S is not updating and ends some hours earlier.

Repeated switching to other servers can cure the problem insofar as it appears that specific servers have current ISLD trade data.

(Right now, mtnview-05 has current ISLD data ,while other servers have 'stale' ISLD books, and T&S data ending 14:48).

Are you aware of that, do you know any reason? Thanks.

And, keep up the great work, Qcharts continues to be a great tool.
