Hutch, You can only see the trees, not the forest. YOU'LL understand some day. That day is not far away.

Hutch, where have you been the past 20 years?

You ask:What is the FAIR value of gold?

Well, what is it?

Answer: We don't know .

This is because the economic system has been manipulated beyond
recognition
by the Socialist/income redistribution philosophy that has engulfed Western Civilization the last 50 years.

When it became clear that taxation of extortional proportions would not be enough to pay for
all the tax and spend Governm. programs
, we then rapidly started printing paper money, IOUs that we called
The National Debt and sent the bill to the unborn, all 1.5 trillion dollars here and even and even bigger elsewhere.
.

There is no evidence that our children will pay this mushrooming debt. So those paper IOUs are worthless.

After stealing from the unborn and children we then conned the baby-boomers into letting them believe that
their Social Security money will be there to take care of old age illness: IT WILL NOT
.

We then embarked into all kinds of hare-brained social engineering schemes via IMF,
and other social engineering programs that have achieved nothing and only ballooned the debt.

Banks all of last year Europe sold Gold to balance giant Budget Deficits " to make it look good "
to allow the union to proceed when in fact European Economies are rotten to the core
from bloated health and pension budget deficits and chronic under working.

The break of OPEC for 15 years gave the wrong impression about oil prices and that helped the coning to continue.

Also the slump of a poorly planned and executed Japanese Economy killed them and
allowed them to work for food and help send their giant savings to pay our debt/ debt financing.

Meanwhile as the depressed stock market took off in 1980
baby boomers refused to fix the flawed tax and spend mentality , for years and instead
put all the money in a stock market that has reached astronomic proportions helped by collar trading
which prevented an honest to goodness fall/ catharsis
,
" the whole world needs an enema" as Jack Nickolson correctly pointed out.

So The. enema is on the way. In the form of liberation of gold by European CB
who wisely had been around enough Centuries to see the old fallacies.

Around the corner comes y2k which will raise overseas prices.

Oil is rising. And with Japan recovering they will invest locally rather than here.

The final nail is
rising health care costs, another con-job by our politicos, who called
" Rationed Medical Care ", " Health Naintenace Organization "
.
People after 15 years are waking up to that con job too.

So now the Socialist Tax and spend Emperor
that has ruled America since 1940 is discovered " To Have No Clothes ".

And Gold is pointing the finger at it because people will do what they 've been doing
for 2000 years: they think that is something that is less likely to be devalued.
They will eacummulate it and put it under the mattress. You can bet that,
unlike your retirement money, at least some of that gold will be there in time of need.

You can ask: " Why, what has been devalued in our life?"

I'll tell you:

-Our future savings to pay for our healthier. Gone. Zero value.
-potential savings to help our children get a start in life: Gone.
-puny retirement moneys left.Dwindled to poverty levels in year 2015+ IMHO.

So in final answer to your question:
What is the FAIR price of Gold?
The final correct answer is:

We don't know. Let it float, without government manipulations and let us see

Gold is up 5.50 in Hong Kong

Not directed to C. Hudson, but just the general.

Up $5.50, down $3.50, up $7.50, down $10.50... and all in Asian trading. Ask yourself this: What is the volume in Hong kong for the spot? What is the daily volume for the
spot. Seldom if ever does the volume in Asia matter. Yes it did the other day, not today. I like this thread so much. The hatred of disagreeing people is so prevalent that
you base your decision in a way that can be best called mob mentality. The basis for a $250 or $2250 gold is beyond the scoop of OH so many here. What is the FAIR
value of gold? None here have answered that. Oh the historical average price is always a comical answer. Yet without a basis in economics the average price is but a
false hood set up by beliefs that the US Dollar is the only currency in the world. What is the average price of gold in YEN, Lira, Pounds? To suggest that the only
important currency is the US dollar is to neglect where most of the gold is mined, refined, and SOLD. The ignorance of those you laugh and mock when the first person
suggest the rally is over, is well hilarious. I have received so many messages today. And I am proud NOT to be one of the asemia.

Hutch

PS: To give credit to GATA is even more funny. Reread the news articles again. What was last week is the same for this week. Same leasing levels, same amounts of
gold for sale. I read somewhere that the historical amount of gold from the ECB was around 300 tonnes/year, and yet they are setting the limit to 400? Hmmm But that's
just the ECB, not Canada, Australia, USA, and ohhh so many others.

FOCUS-South Quito blanketed with volcanic ash
By Mario Naranjo
QUITO, Ecuador, Sept 29 - The south of Ecuador's capital city Quito was covered with about an inch (2.5 cm) of volcanic ash on Wednesday as part of a volcano spitting nearby began to crumble.
Quito and the surrounding area was upgraded to "orange alert" on Monday night under the threat of an eruption of the Guagua Pichincha volcano 7-1/2 miles (12 km) away from the city.
The upgrade to orange from yellow indicates the volcano could erupt in days or weeks. The orange alert is one level below a red alert, which means the volcano could erupt in a matter of hours or days.
"We saw the western wall of the dome crumbling when we made an aerial survey of the crater this morning and we saw significant amounts of smoke," Hugo Yepez, the director of Ecuador's main geological institute, told reporters.
"The magma column is exerting enough pressure so it could deform the mountain," he added.
About an inch (2.5 cm) of volcanic ash blanketed the south end of the high Andean capital of 1.2 million people earlier in the day. Television images showed streets thick with the gray powder. (cont)
