I can't comment on Yahoo regarding credit card fees. I can tell you my retail stores pay 40 cents per transaction and 1.35% of the sale. Most processing companys base the fee they offer (one negotiates this) on the average ticket price per transaction and the total dollar amount average yearly on plastic. I suspect my fee is slightly lower than a privately owned gift shop since my average ticket price is likely much higher.
