OUCH - That is not what I wanted to wake up to considering it was around 305 all night - Reading a lot on it. The suituation certainly has parallels to what OPEC di to OIL. They cut supply less that a year ago when the price was 412 and it has doubled in six months.

Relatively simple economics. It also seesm like the entire gold move was also an effort to curtail the lending aka shorting of gold. much like investors not buying on margin and registering their shrea - the short supply is limited

JMO, But there is nothing wrong with AU closing at $297 today...thta would be a key monthly reversal signaling the beginning of an uptrend...
