I was just watching my tape of CNBC today, and saw the Walt Mossberg interview. The discussion was about his latest piece in the Wall Street Journal in which he chronicles the number of crashes he suffers with his pc. Bill Griffeth asked him about whether Linux was a viable alternative. His reply was that though it promises to be more reliable, it is not ready for the desktop because of installation difficulties. I look forward to Walt's review of Corel's Linux distribution, if they really do what Cowpland promises, this will be a tremendous boost!

1. "freedom from crashing"
2. "freedom from cracking"
3. and tight integration with Windows...

The three brother all had and idea and prayed to the lord of truth and wisdom.
And so it came to pass that the lord said.
"freedom from crashing" is good my first son go forth and prosper. I will name you Don Smart.
And again then the lord said
"freedom from crashing" and "freedom from cracking" is good my second wise son go forth and prosper and I will call you Even Smarter.
And then the lord spoke to the third brother.
"freedom from crashing" and "freedom from cracking" is good my son but mixing with "tight integration with Windows" is Definitely Untenable Moronic Bumbling And Simply Stupid. I will forever call thee dumb ass.

But what the hey 9999 out of 10000 ignorant consumers won't know the difference. Look at all the folks who put up with ms.
