The currency war is already engaged, since ECB officially organized 2/1999 To answer your Q RE: Any thoughts on effects on Asian countries, and for practical purposes, I'm going to include India in this broadbrush stroke on Asia, ...You may recall my earlier posts several months back where I explained that the low price of gold was intended to benefit the gold coffers of Asia, India, etc., because their AMU currency was the next to be formed, and they didn't have NEARLY ENOUGH gold at that time to back any new A sian M onetary U nit which is next to be issued acc'd to the Bretton-Woods Currency Accord Agreement blueprint of 1944. Therefore, not only did the gold need to be passed around, it needed to happen at lower prices so that the Asian CB'ers could acquire it. Granted Korea smartly began a "support your local law enforcement" campaign to strip their populace of several tons of gold to kick start their gold reserves. That is already done. But, the B-WCA is clear in both blueprint and INtent: the era of the smeared around like confetti US$ with all its attendant benefits has been served notice upon by the creation of the 2nd and 3rd reserve currency units. Mark my words, the currencies which are goldbacked, i.e., the ECB's EU and the soon to be AMU will be the bain of US$ holders all over the world. As I said before, it doesn't take foreign rocket scientists to see that USA 24/7/365 printing of Greenbacks, under the dual guises of "anti-counterfeiting" and for the "prevent the public panic withdrawals in preparation for Y2K " campaign just prior to the 11 day bank holidays directly ahead, --Dec 31 thru Jan 10--... this unprecendented "paint the world with Greenbacks" had to come to a screeching challenge by the ONE CB who Rothschilds BIS set up to humble the arrogant American Federal Reserve. Y2K may very well prevent the issuance/completion of the AMU scheduled after the turn of the millineum. And there may be MORE surprises ahead. I'm awaiting my AG bosom buddy contact to get back to me on that. So, there are my thoughts on effects on Asia, who may well be holding most of the disgourged CB gold and the IOU's from the LEASE game. It's for dang sure the ECB intends to keep every drop it currently has and collect on what it is owed. O/49roregontrail.net
