What many people don't seem to realize, Turner is apparently one of those guys who succeeded by outrageous fortune: his deals were so bad and crazy that he wound up owing so much money that the banks and his partners couldn't afford to let him fail. That and he apparently wasn't smart enough to recognize his limitations - probably a key to many's success.
