More ATHM rumor. . .

Excite At Home to Vote on Breakup Proposal, L.A. Times Reports

Washington, Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Excite At Home Corp.'s board is preparing to vote on whether to divide the online service into two companies, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing unnamed people
close to the situation. AT&T Corp., Excite At Home's largest shareholder, sent a proposal to the Excite At Home board this week calling for separating the company's distribution and content assets, the newspaper said. Cox Communications Inc., which has the right to veto the proposal, has opposed the breakup since the idea emerged informally several months ago, the Times said.

I would personally like to see ATHM and EXCITE go their own ways. . .I never liked that marraige from the beginning. . .it is sort of like McDonalds and TGIFridays merging . . . and calling itself TGI McDonalds.

This rumor is more believable. . .but doesn't affect stock price. . .which also makes it more reliable. . and I hope it happens.

Will keep an eye on it. Did some BVSN Oct. calls for a few $$ today. BTWS finally popped.
I was looking at DNCC as a buy yesterday, just 'cause it was cheap, then forgot about it, now it has moved up.
